How has your practice benefited you?
How has your practice changed since the beginning of the year?
What do you want from your practice in 2017?
As I look back on this past year…
I began this year teaching at over ten different locations seven days a week. Currently, my teaching load is not as extensive as it once was, and yes, I do miss teaching more often. I’ve enjoyed working with all my students at all the locations I’ve taught at.
As I look into the future, the upcoming 2017 year, as much as I would love to keep teaching mul tiple classes per day at multiple different locations I find that life has presented me with the opportunity to further my yoga education and grow my personal practice. This coming year will allow me to grow as a yoga practitioner and as a yoga teacher. For this I am extremely grateful for.
What I will bring back to my student is increased knowledge, more, personal, firsthand experience and further in-depth understand of the practice as a whole.
Although I am sad that I will not be simply teaching and working with students, where my true passion and life’s purpose is, I know that in the future I will be a better teacher, practitioner and a better person from everything I have learned and will learn throughout my ongoing journey.
Where will you take your practice, or even more so, where will your practice take you in the coming year?
From my heart to yours, have a wonderful holiday season and a safe, happy New Year!
